Cold Rolled Mild Steel Strips |
Durga Steels supply a range of high quality steel strips such as Cold Rolled Mild Steel Strips in D/DD/ED grade, manufactured in India by well-known manufactures. These steel strips can be referred to as special steel strips or alternatively as special alloy steel, varying on the chemical composition. This is the reduction of hot rolled pickled steel strip to a specified thickness, using a series of stands of rolls reducing the thickness progressively. This distorts the grain structure of the steel significantly and therefore a loss of ductility results. Cold rolled commercial quality steel normally has maximum carbon content of 0.15 percent by ladle analysis. Cold rolled special steel strip demands tighter production parameters than mild steel strip, particularly in the areas of gauge and flatness control. The main uses of this product is in drawing, forming, bending, and pressing work.
